Roderick Black qualified as a CA in 1988 with Arthur Andersen, before moving to Ernst & Young to specialise in tax, becoming a member of CIOT in 1989. His professional experience ranges from family businesses to global multinationals. He also has commercial experience as tax manager with a large construction group dealing with corporate and employment tax issues. As well as being an experienced ATT and CTA student lecturer, he has been involved in writing tax exam papers for ICAS. He has also delivered courses on a range of tax subjects to the CPD market, including preparation and delivery of in-house courses for the profession and commerce and industry.
