Biography:
Rob Durrant-Walker is a Fellow of the CIOT with over 34 years’ tax experience beginning at the Inland Revenue. Via Top 10 and Big 4, and smaller firms with an OMB tax focus, Rob is now an independent consultant.
He provides tax planning advice to owner managed businesses across corporate, personal and property taxes, including projects for other professional firms and with an eye on the interaction between different taxes, commerciality, and ethics. Rob also contributes to the titles Tolley’s Property Taxation, Tolley’s Tax Planning, Tolley’s Capital Allowances, Tolley’s Taxwise, and Taxation magazine. Rob is also consultant editor of the online Tolley Guidance OMB module, and is the editor of Tolley’s Tax Planning for Owner-Managed Businesses.
