Biography:
Jamie advises on a broad range of direct and indirect tax matters including stamp taxes and VAT.
His areas of expertise include the taxation of regulated and unregulated collective investment vehicles and their investors as well as the tax-efficient structuring of financial transactions generally.
He also has significant experience advising on the taxation of corporate groups (including their reconstruction and reorganisation) and on the tax issues arising for joint venture structures and private capital club deals (particularly those with a real estate focus).
Jamie's clients typically operate in the financial services, technology and real estate sectors. They include entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, established UK and international corporate groups, wealth managers, fund platforms and financial institutions.
Jamie is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
