I trained as accountant in London, and upon qualification joined the Arcadia Group as a tax manager. In 2003 I joined HMRC, first of all working in large business, and latterly moved to head office working on different projects both policy and technical involving most areas of international tax. At HMRC I started to train both trainee and qualified inspectors on international tax legislation, and it was then that I developed an interest in becoming a tutor. Since 2011 I have become a freelance lecturer for Tolley, my main areas being ADIT paper 1 and 2 and CTA ADV CT. I am also a practicing accountant and tax advisor, offering advice mainly to High Net Worth Individuals and OMBs. I am both CTA and ADIT qualified.
