Andrew is in practice as a Chartered Tax Adviser and lecturer through his own firm TaxFellowship, advising and representing clients, contributing articles on technical issues to the professional press and lecturing widely to professional audiences all over the UK.


He is co-founder of TaxAction Consulting Limited, a national tax advisory service for professionals, and of Assured Tax Consulting Limited, which advises businesses on employment tax compliance issues.  He has contributed Division A4.5 on Penalties and Surcharges to Simon's Taxes, the leading publication of record on UK taxation; and is the Consultant Editor for the Employment Taxation section of LexisNexis' online TolleyGuidance.


Andrew was made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2005 and was awarded the Institute's Fellowship Thesis Prize & Gold Medal and the Banker's Taxation Circle Prize.  He is closely involved with the Institute's technical work, sits on its Technical Committee and is Chairman of the Owner Managed Businesses Technical Sub-Committee, in which capacities he contributes to many consultations and fora with HMRC.
