Alex specialises in VAT and has over 25 years of experience working in tax, which includes over 10 years writing about VAT. He started to write about VAT on a freelance basis while working in practice.
In 2021 Alex joined Tolley from an accountancy practice in Yorkshire where he was a VAT consultant in an award-winning tax team that provided consultancy services to charities and owner managed businesses.
